Community Resrouces
I know these past few years have been difficult, and I understand your needs. At this time, I may not be able to return your request for service in a timely manner or schedule an appointment. My apologies for that, it has been a very busy time. For this reason, I created this resource list and I will be adding more resources later on. As you know if this is an emergency, you should reach out to your local hospital or call Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255). Please do stay in touch. I will be facilitating some psycho-educational workshops in 2022 in order to support you in your wellness journey
RESOURCES
I am very sorry, but I am unable to take any new clients right now.
I created this referral resources list with all of you in mind.
1. To find a therapist or review therapist who accepts your insurance, please Google "Psychology Today: then add "name of insurance" and your area, ex. "Westchester county" and you will see a listing of all of the therapists who will see you. If you want a Spanish-speaking therapist, add "Spanish speaking" and you will be able to read the profile of all of the therapists who accepts your insurance.
2. You can also search your insurance online for the list of therapists who accepts your insurance.
3. I just want to let prospective psychotherapy clients know that I do not accept out-of-state clients seeking psychotherapy services in New York City.

People who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer (LGBTQ) deserve to get the most out of their health care visits. That means working with providers who affirm who they are and incorporate their sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression into care.

Through the NYC Health Map, you can find LGBTQ-knowledgeable providers who can offer you services in:
Primary care
Sexual health care
Gender affirming care
HIV testing, treatment, and other services
For more help finding the right medical services and provider, you can also call 311. To see more resources go here: LGBTQ Health - NYC Health

Transgender Support
Support During Gender Transition
Trans people coming out can get a lot of attention – positive and negative.
New York Trans Guide – an up-to-date resource guide
Gender transition takes time. Transition at your own pace with the help of a trans-friendly health care provider and a support group.
